Ireland Export Declarations (AES)

AES-compliant export declarations for goods leaving Ireland

All exports from Ireland to non-EU destinations must be declared through the Automated Export System (AES). Since AES went fully live in 2023, legacy software based on the old ECS system is no longer accepted by Revenue.

We handle every export type: standard pre-departure declarations (B1), simplified procedures (B2), exit summary declarations (EXS) and Common Transit movements that interlock with UK GVMS. We pay particular attention to clients exporting to Turkey or the UK.

How It Works

  1. 1Provide your export invoice, packing list and shipment details
  2. 2Correct CN codes and the export data set are prepared
  3. 3Declaration lodged in AES — MRN and Exit Certificate tracked
  4. 4Proof of Export delivered to you — essential for VAT zero-rating
